Michelle Preston

Hi, my name is Michelle. I have been a dental nurse for 9 years in Private Practice and NHS Practice. I have a wealth of experience in both settings. Previous to my dental career I was a Palliative care nursing Assistant and worked alongside Macmillan nurses. I chose that path due to my own father having cancer and thankfully beating it.

After many years in Palliative Nursing I decided I wanted to move into dentistry as this was always another interest of mine other than wanting to be a paramedic (I just never got the chance as life always got in the way as it does).

I have now joined the Oakley Team in 2022 as a Treatment Coordinator. Oakley is a great team of professionals and I am proud to be a part of the team. We are all passionate about every single patient and give the best possible care before during and after their journey with us. I enjoy meeting patients and helping them along their smile journey with Oakley. It is very rewarding for both the patient and the team.

In my spare time I am an Emergency Dental Nurse for the NHS Out Of Hours service, when I am not doing this I enjoy spending time with family and friends, specially my daughter who has recently graduated from university- very proud mum. I am also a huge fan of F1 (team Mercedes of course) and I watch this at every opportunity possible.
