This dental procedure involves making a new synthetic tooth and affixing it directly to the jaw, complete with a sturdy titanium root that acts much in the same way that the roots of the rest of your teeth do.

After this, a new “root” – made of titanium for extra durability – can be fixed to your jaw. The new root is left to heal into its socket within the jawbone. The root then receives a porcelain “crown” to complete the treatment.
